About Långan: Långan is one of Sweden's most impressive rivers for sport fishing, located in Jämtland County. This picturesque river is known for its clear, flowing waters and rich fish life. Långan is a dream for fly fishers, with an abundance of species such as trout and grayling. The river winds through a varied terrain, from forests and meadows to dramatic mountains, creating a perfect environment for relaxation and adventure.

The surrounding nature at Långan is as impressive as the river itself. You will experience Sweden's pristine wilderness, with dense forests, lush meadows, and rich wildlife. The area is home to many unique plant and animal species, including moose, deer, and foxes. It's not uncommon to see beavers building their dams along the river or hear birds of prey such as eagles and ospreys soaring over the water in search of fish.

During the tour, you might also spot smaller mammals like stoats and minks, as well as a rich bird life with species like capercaillie, black grouse, and kingfisher. This diversity makes every fishing adventure an opportunity to delve into and learn more about Sweden's ecosystem.

A real experience!

I've been lucky enough to tour the Swedish Wilderness in Dalarna with these guys, and honestly it's one of the trips I'll remember till I die. No only are the guides fun and knowledgeable, but there is something special about being deep in the Swedish wilderness - it's spectacular.

I highly recommend the summer time!
