Cancellation policy

At Swedish Wilderness Sustainable Adventures, we understand that life can be unpredictable and that plans may change. That’s why we’ve designed our cancellation policy to give you as much flexibility as possible while ensuring fair treatment for both our customers and partners. Below, you’ll find our detailed cancellation policy, including special conditions for unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or personal emergencies. Booking Process and Date Selection:

Since we don’t operate with fixed dates, we will contact you after booking to agree on a suitable date for your adventure. This provides flexibility and ensures that both you and our guides find the most convenient time.

Cancellation Policy:

  1. Early Cancellation (more than 30 days before the agreed date):
    If you cancel more than 30 days before the agreed date of your adventure, you will receive a full refund, minus an administrative fee of 8% of the total booking amount.

  2. Late Cancellation (7 to 30 days before the agreed date):
    Cancellations made between 7 and 30 days before the agreed date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount.

  3. Cancellation less than 7 days before the agreed date:
    Cancellations made less than 7 days before the agreed date are not eligible for a refund.

  4. Cancellation by Swedish Wilderness Sustainable Adventures:
    If we have to cancel your adventure for any reason, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered either a rebooking or a full refund.

Special Circumstances in Case of Cancellation:

  • Illness or Medical Reasons:
    If you need to cancel due to illness or medical reasons, a full refund will be offered, provided that you supply a medical certificate or other relevant documentation.

  • Personal Emergencies:
    If an unforeseen personal emergency (e.g., death in the family) requires you to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Each case will be handled individually, and we will strive to offer a fair solution.

  • Travel Restrictions or Quarantine:
    If you are unable to participate due to sudden travel restrictions, lockdowns, or mandatory quarantine related to pandemics, you will be offered either a full refund, credit towards a future booking, or the option to rebook.

Changes to the Booking:

If you need to change your booking date, please contact us as soon as possible. Fees may apply depending on when the change is requested.

How to Cancel:

To cancel your booking, please contact our customer service at info@swedishwilderness.com and include your booking number. For special circumstances like illness or emergencies, please attach relevant documentation.
